Live Wedding Painting
A Living Work of Art, Created on Your Wedding Day
Transform the most special moments of your wedding into a timeless, hand-painted heirloom... created live, as your celebration unfolds.
I offer live wedding painting to create a piece that tells the story long after the day has passed.
The Style
Your wedding day is made of hundreds of small moments, many of which pass too quickly to fully take in.
Live wedding painting captures the feeling of the day, not just the image.
I paint in an impressionistic style with realistic elements, translating atmosphere, connection, and celebration into a one-of-a-kind artwork created in real time. The result is a piece that is both deeply personal and enduring... something you will live with for decades and will be the perfect memorabilia of your wedding day and love story.
The Process
Before the Wedding
We discuss your vision, preferred moment (romantic moment, first look poses, ceremony, first dance, etc.), color palette, and overall feel. We can also discuss other elements you want incorporated such as song lyrics, wedding vows, or other special elements that are part of your day.
On the Wedding Day
I arrive early to set up discreetly and begin painting the background colors. I will get a photo of you at the desired moment we have agreed upon. Key details and figures are developed live during the celebration.
After the Wedding
Final refinements are completed in-studio to ensure the painting reflects both accuracy and artistry. Your finished piece is then delivered ready for display.

FAQs
Will the painting be finished at the wedding? The majority of the painting is created live so guests can experience the process. Final refinements are completed afterward to ensure a polished, lasting artwork.
How large is the painting?Size varies by package and vision. This will be discussed prior to booking. Custom sizes are available and can be discussed.
Do you do other wedding paintings besides the bride and groom?Of course! I can do the bride only, the mother and son dance, the father and daughter dance, the bouquet, or bouquet and treasured items (jewelry, something old, something blue, etc) or even a fashion style painting of the dress.
What moment do you usually paint?Common choices include a romantic moment after the first look, ceremony, first dance, or another meaningful moment you select . We’ll decide together during planning.
Do you travel?Yes. If you are located outside the North Georgia, Upstate South Carolina or lower Western North Carolina region in a distance that would require an overnight stay, travel arrangements can be made and discussed on an individual basis.
Will you be in the way or distract from the event? Not at all. I work quietly and unobtrusively, coordinating placement with your venue or planner.
My wedding has already passed... can I still get a painting?Absolutely! I can work from wedding photos you already have to create a special painting. Contact me to discuss the details and get a studio price for your painting. (typically less than Live Painting Prices)
