This original acrylic painting depicts Currahee Mountain. This area has the most beautiful sunsets behind this mountain all year. Often the sunsets have a lot going on in the sky which are always beautiful, but for this piece I wanted the calmer, sweeping horizontal colors - mainly pinks and blues. It took lots of sunset photographs to get what I was after.
This piece is perfect for anyone local to the area or with special ties to Camp Toccoa. It will add a punch of bold color to the wall while bringing some of the great outdoors inside.
The original is acrylic on a 30”w x 20” h x 1.5” d cradled gessoboard and will come in a natural maple floater frame.
