Still and Knowing is the largest painting in this release of the 2026 Bird Series. I haven’t painted a bird of prey before but really enjoyed bringing this owl to life on the canvas. The barn owl is perched and standing with wisdom and a silent stillness. The rich blue background has a variety of blue hues and values…from moody to light… and is accented with gold throughout.
The original is acrylic on cradled gessoboard and is framed in a natural maple floater frame. The art size is 20”w x 30”h and the overall framed size is 21.5”w x 31.5”h
